Who am I? That may be the biggest
"paranormal" question I will ever investigate!
Somebody else could probably answer this question better than
I can. At 47 years old I still don't have a handle on who
I am or where I'm going. I find it much more sane to just
live each moment to the fullest. That way whoever and whatever
I am will just be defined by the moment.
My name is Jeffrey... that much I know... but just call me "J" like everyone else does. Oh yeah! I live in a suburb of Buffalo, New York... I'm pretty sure of that fact too! :)
I'm a freelance writer by hobby, leaning heavily into paranormal/spiritual topics. Much of my inspiration comes as a direct result of the paranormal investigations I am often called upon to undertake.
Spiritually speaking, I am sort of a strange mixture. My deep Christian roots were formed in the mystical environment of the Pentecostal/Charismatic movements... but I must admit I have all but abandoned the institutional church at this stage in my life. In my opinion, organized religion has skewed far from the God it claims to represent. And besides, God and I stay tight just fine without it.
Coupled with my mystical Christian training, I have always been an avid student of all things pertaining to new age, psychic, occult, and pagan mysteries. Some might think these two "extremes" are antithetical... but I have not found this to be true.
My entire life has been filled with paranormal occurences... prophetic dreams, visions, intuitions, ghostly visitations, hauntings, etc. It became clear to me in my 20's that my college studies in mainstream psychology were going to take a back seat to a lifelong odyssey in the ways and means of the spirit world.
I don't claim to be an expert in anything. Consider me to be a fellow-seeker of the mysteries of life and spirit right along with you.
